 I can't believe people still buy this tripe. Trying to relive the "lulz" of the 2000s, "Roy"? Absolute Zero United was a trashy blog full of deranged conspiracy theorists that makes Alex Jones look like a Rhodes Scholar. They died out years ago because their plans to derail registry reform efforts backfired dramatically. They lost their legitimacy long ago when they began confusing legitimate legal criminal justice reforms with the fringe extremism of NAMBLA. Even Perverted Justice, the parent company of AZU, distanced themselves from those conspiracy crackpots in an effort to become a legitimate law enforcement advisory agency (they're defunct too because the Internet left them way behind). But it seems this website is the place for such crackpot conspiracies like yours, Roy.

This Ray McCoy certainly does not want his real identity revealed, so he's either a wacko who believes every insane online theory or he's a former AZU alum. Either way, he's a complete asshat.

BoyWiki’s supposedly informational purpose masks a more sinister service: networking for members of the international pedophile community.

Online predators have used the same web software as Wikipedia and Wikifan sites to design what they describe as a place to record “our history and our culture” for men attracted to boys, or as they are called by everyone else: pederasts. The site’s administrators are connected to the Free Spirits Council, an international network of people from multiple countries seeking to normalize pedophilia as a legitimate sexual orientation and social behavior rather than the predatory exploitation of children that it is. 

In order to shield themselves from professional or legal scrutiny, members of the FSC maintain strict anonymity. The resources provided by this network of websites are specifically geared toward connecting advocates of liberalizing social and legal constraints on pedophilic behavior while skirting the current laws governing them. On the surface this is already disturbing to the rational reader; but it turns out that it’s not illegal. These platforms may act as a venue for others to connect and engage in illegal sexual conduct. Thanks to a lax legal structure and a burgeoning new effort to legitimize deviant adult attraction to children, they may be able to get away with more than just advocacy.

The site in question is called BoyWiki, and along with the Free Spirits, it operates parallel sites in French and German. Like many other pedophile social circles, its log is a maze in the shape of a triangle. The counterpart website for adults attracted to minor girls is called AnnabelleLeigh/GirlChat and functions only as a message board, and states up front concrete rules for speech on the site in order to prevent illegal material from jeopardizing the site.

The creators of BoyWiki call themselves and its intended audience “boy lovers” and on its main page the site has a “Did you know. . .” section informing users of an online message board “for boy lovers all over the world.” 

This is not the first such site to attempt to organize information for such a community. Newgon.net, now an inactive site available only in archived form, operated for several years as a wiki website dedicated to the broader purpose of supporting all of the attraction combinations, and it includes pages for debate guidelines on justifying adult-child physical contact and “testimonials” of historical cases that attempt to show such contact in a positive light. 

One such testimonial cites a book by sociologist Floyd Martinson in which a girl interviewed describes a forcible rape by her father. The fact that the writer was searching for source material for positive anecdotes and this was the best that could be found is a window into the delusional mentality of the people involved. Newgon.net would also feature articles critical of anti-pedophile “vigilante” organizations such as the defunct blog Absolute Zero United. Both Newgon.net and BoyWiki classify Absolute Zero as a “hate campaign,” even though their function has mainly been to monitor gatherings of pedophiles for illegal activities.

Strange Bedfellows

There is also IPCE (the International Pedophile and Child Emancipation) and the better-known NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association), two advocacy groups that compile long-form academic and literary websites for scholarly discussion about the “emancipation of mutual relationships between children or adolescents and adults.” In the past these groups would attempt to hold meetings where the men involved would gather supposedly to advocate lowering the legal age of consent. The real function of these get-togethers, however, would often be to exchange and distribute sexually explicit materials involving minors. 

NAMBLA was formed in the late 1970s just as the gay rights movement was attempting to eliminate sodomy laws and other restrictions. One of the events that triggered its formation was the 1978 arrest of 24 Boston men in a raid where they were discovered to have lured boys between the ages of eight and 14 into their clutches by using drugs and video games. A segment of the area gay community formed a campaign called the Boston/Boise Committee to oppose the prosecution of the men, and NAMBLA eventually evolved out of it. Among those who lauded the efforts of the committee was a little-known Massachusetts state representative named Barney Frank. He would come out as the first openly gay congressman in 1987. 

In 1993 Adi Sideman, an Israeli-American sophomore at NYU and child sex abuse victim, filmed “Chickenhawk” which included in-person interviews with NAMBLA members and activists. Considered one of the most disturbing documentaries of all time, the film allowed the subjects to describe their attraction in their own words, often showing the warped way that they misrepresented their interactions with children as young as seven years old as expressions of interest. One of the most haunting subjects of the film, Leland Stevenson, would be arrested on a second child pornography charge in Florida years later. Sideman closed the film, after the credits, with a ghoulish monologue in which he warns opponents of pedophilia that “your day is over . . . when it [suppression of pedophilia] breaks, it is going to break suddenly.”

By this time, the broader gay rights movement had ostracized NAMBLA. According to the group’s leading light David Thorstad, lesbian activists began to urge for a break from the movement as a result of NAMBLA’s inclusion. While Thorstad protested that such adult-child relationships were common between women and girls as well, all available data shows that the overwhelming majority of child sex offenders are men. And while the majority of sexual abuse victims are girls, it is believed that male cases are underreported. In the 2000s NAMBLA was weakened both by the stress litigation and infiltration by activists seeking to expose pedophile identities and activities. It is no longer a functioning organization. 

Illegal Activity Made Possible Via Legal Channels

While the “informational” resource provided by BoyWiki is troubling, it is entirely legal so long as there is no explicit sexual content or incitement to illegal activities. But BoyWiki’s supposedly informational purpose masks a more sinister service: networking for members of the community. One article permanently featured on the main page  (unlike Wikipedia which changes theirs daily) is for “BoyLand,” a message board for pedophiles. BoyWiki also has on its main page a link to the Free Spirits Council’s own message board BoyChat. 

On these message boards prospective predators can share with each other their prurient thoughts and potentially establish contact in order to solicit and share illegal child porn or even set up meetings. Chat rules prohibit soliciting meetings with persons under 18 but not with each other. In every sense possible, these chat rooms serve the same purpose of providing the first connection for potential sex criminals so they can meet and share illicit child porn or even discuss child sex trafficking.

Other resources once used to promote BoyWiki and likeminded forums were the semi-functional WEIRD-PM Radio, Ethos Magazine, and formerly the Enchanted Island. All of these were creations of a person named “Kermie” who according to BoyWiki died in October 2016. These were all used in order to direct listeners and readers about ways to reach out and contact other “BLs” (boy lovers). The news presented on the WEIRD programs invariably skewed to child-centered topics. In his last broadcast before his passing, Kermie referred to a child prodigy and high school graduate as a “9-year-old man.” He would go on to conclude by saying that “the world is changing” and the time is coming when “BLs” would be accepted as any other sexual lifestyle would. If it sounded like he was echoing Leland Stevenson, it may not be a coincidence. 

Hedonism, Child Health Be Damned

When Stevenson died in 2013, a forum user posted a tribute thanking him “for all your good work.” One of the men paying tribute, Eric Tazelaar, would tweet in 2019 a random photo of a boy wearing a shirt with the caption “Pizza is my jam” and much of his feed concerns what he considers the severe nature of sex offender laws. In a 2016 Vice article on the state of NAMBLA (or what’s left of it), Tazelaar claimed that changing public opinion about such sexual activities would take decades. Thanks to well-meaning but misguided efforts of government researchers, however, his goal is on the fast track in some countries. 

In 2018 Madeleine van der Bruggen, a psychologist with the Netherlands’ National Rapporteur on Trafficking which researches child sex crimes, delivered a now-infamous TEDx Talk. “I truly do believe that every person is longing for love at some point in their life,” she said. “And what if this love that you really wish for will forever be impossible? That must be a very lonely situation to be in.” She then went on to deliver a spirited appeal to think of pedophiles as a sexual orientation and called for “clever solutions” and pleaded with the audience to imagine an acquaintance or relative being arrested. 

This section will be a lot of preaching to the choir, but adult-child sexual relationships, whatever their level of acceptance in other cultures, are not shown to be healthy according to any existing study. According to a Temple University study in 2019, youth before the age of 18 attain adult cognitive capacity at an average age of 16, but psychosocial maturity only at the age of 18. This “maturity gap” contradicts the notion that younger teens and children who have attained neither of those mental competency levels are capable of making decisions about sexual relationships. 

Another study from 2013 featured in World Psychiatry found that adults who had a history as child sex abuse victims were more prone to suicide and that the earlier the abuse occurred, the more frequently the subject would attempt suicide. There is no countervailing evidence that sexual abuse supports mental health. A 2019 Oxford University review of academic literature on the topic reveals that such activity has been linked to more frequent occurrence of later life health problems ranging from borderline personality disorder to obesity.

With the advent of the sexual liberation movement of the 1970s, normalizing previously taboo sexual lifestyles among adults, advocates of adult-child sexual relationships saw an opening to promote themselves as victims of persecution as well. In West Berlin in the 1960s, psychologist Helmut Kentler proposed that denial of sexual urges among children by their parents would make them into “sexual cripples.” Thanks to the receptive government of Mayor Willy Brandt, Kentler was able to receive funding to place homeless children with male pedophiles beginning in the early 1970s and continuing for decades. Many of the men who became foster parents and subsequently exploited the sheltered children were themselves educators at top-flight German universities and an elite private boarding school.

The content of BoyWiki and the Free Spirits Council websites blatantly echoes the same sentiments of NAMBLA and other pro-pedophilia advocates like those of the Kentler study, yet it carefully avoids the sharing of explicit sexual content and encourages users not to disclose private information or their own activities. In preparation for this story, I contacted the National Human Trafficking Hotline, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), and local police. An ICAC representative acknowledged by phone this week that the task force is aware of the BoyWiki website, but declined to respond when asked if it is under investigation. 

Valigator and her imaginary friends have made me wait forever for their big surprise, yet they consistently fail to deliver

This is a very short post. The only reason I am writing this here is because Valerie "Valigator" Parkhurst and her imaginary friend on her shit blog have continued making idle threats against me, and I challenged them to meet me in person. Obviously Val and imaginary friend won't do it. 

I'd like to remind Valerie and her imaginary friend of a few facts:

1. I've gotten the same lame threat for years. Supposedly I'm supposed to have gotten a "big surprise" of some sort since 2008. I'm STILL waiting for this big surprise. Glad I never held my breath on that one.  Well, the asshole was right about one thing, I'd "never see him coming"... because he was afraid to show up! LOL.
2. Valigaturd claims she wrote my neighbors letters a couple of years ago and they were up in arms, but when I asked all my neighbors about these alleged letters, not one neighbor received anything. Proof or it never happened!
3. Valigaturd tried to make people think she went to Tallahassee to see me "crash and burn" at the Rally in Tally, and claims she only saw "four people" there. Obviously she wasn't there nor can she count, and since my counter-rally got equal attention with the Lauren Book walk, to make the claim my rally was a failure is to admit the Lauren Book bash was a failure. 
4. The only time I can actually say Valigaturd actually tried sabotaging an event (the 2012 RSOL Conference in Albuquerque), it backfired miserably. 

So once again, Valigaturd and her imaginary friend is once again making implicit threats they can't back up. I will challenge them like I challenged that random Twitter twat that trash-talked me the other day-- SAY IT TO MY FACE OR DON'T SAY IT AT ALL. 

I know they won't accept because Valigaturd and her imaginary friend won't dare meet me in person. I will take it a step further. If the asshole who has been making idle threats since 2008 meets me in person, I'll fucking retire from the cause once and for all! I'll delete Once Fallen and all the useful info I have given to thousands of registered citizens. 

So what do you say, punks? Want to shut me up? Meet me in person. That's all you have to do. No more "anonymous" messages. You know where I live, so as we used to say back in the day, nothing separates us but air and opportunity. 

It has been seven years so it is time to put up or shut up.

ADDENDUM: Well it seems Valigaturd's imaginary friend has vowed to start "hashtag OpDereksTears" on me. Yawn. At least this time they will be giving their failed operation a name. If these online vigilante groups are "heroes," then why do they have to host their operations overseas

Here is a thought I've had before. It is obviously okay in America for people to harass Registered Citizens, as message boards are filled with the same tired comments.

But over the years, members of online vigilante douchebag groups like AZU have often posted their shit overseas because websites like Youtube actually have some degree of standards and it is possible to have hateful videos removed (although Facebook allows far more hate groups to routinely post murder discussions on their websites). Now, given the fact that it pretty much takes a court order to have anything removed from various websites, and given the acceptance of harassing and slandering registered citizens online, it is obvious that so-called "Antis" need to send their trash overseas because even the average American doesn't want to deal with them.

The bad news for those who have been negatively impacted by "Evil-Unveiled" are being victimized again because the defunct Evil-Unveiled info, already a project plagiarized from the earlier Perverted-Justice trash project Wikisposure, has now been reposted on another garbage site called "Encyclopedia Dramatica," another internet filth site run by internet trolls and other assorted  losers.

Now, while Encyclopedia Dramatica is not a site to be taken seriously by any means (it is a site created "for the lulz" meaning its only purpose is to make fun of and hurt people), some assholes at ED have decided to "archive" the Wikisposure/Evil-Unveiled tripe "as part of a lulz preservation project," as the cowards at ED proclaim.

Encyclopedia Dramatica is hosted overseas of course, and claim to be under Ukrainian jurisdiction, though having the .se extension. ED has a pretty shitty reputation, and they are pretty hypocritical considering they are re-posting and promoting the inaccurate Evil-Unveiled website and yet they are promoting rape and molestation:

This is actually quite typical of internet troll groups. After all, I've covered the hypocrisy often on this website. I wouldn't doubt many current members of ED are actual sex offenders like T-Sand.

Of course, that means little to the dozens of Anti-Registry Movement reformists who have been continuously slandered by the lies started by Perverted Justice and continue to spread like a disease. And there is little that can be done about it except to consider the source. Encyclopedia Dramatica isn't exactly a site known for accurate info. In fact, they freely admit their site isn't about the facts.

I doubt there IS much any of you impacted by having this info can do, save gong to court in a foreign nation, but perhaps you can file a suit against the the big search engines, especially Google, to have the links buried. Maybe someday, I'll catch one of these trolls in person. You'd be amazed how weak these people are in real life, just like the typical bully.

But, obviously even the trolls know that they are doing something wrong, because they go to great lengths to conceal their identities and posting their harassment outside the reach of American courts. There is nothing heroic about that.

Registered Sexual Offender Sentenced to Return to Prison

PENSACOLA, FLORIDA – Pensacola resident 53 year-old Clay C. Keys, was sentenced Tuesday on his guilty plea to a federal indictment charging him with the receipt and distribution of child pornography and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. Keys was previously convicted in state court for a lewd and lascivious act upon a child and is a registered sexual offender.

Keys was found guilty of using peer-to-peer software between April 2009 and August 2013 to share thousands of images of child pornography online. A federal search warrant was obtained for Keys’ residence in August 2013, and law enforcement officers discovered more than 10,000 images and videos of child pornography. Chief United States District Judge M. Casey Rodgers sentenced Keys to 15 years in federal prison to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

Keys was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, which will run concurrent with his sentence for child pornography.

In announcing the sentence imposed by the court, United States Attorney Pamela C. Marsh credited the success of this prosecution to the joint efforts of the Department of Homeland Security, the Pensacola Police Department, and other members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, whose joint investigation led to the complaint in the case.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David L. Goldberg.

Thank you AZU and Valigator!

Thanks to the tireless efforts of AZU members and Valerie "Valigator" Parkhurst, the 2012 RSOL Conference in Albuquerque was the most successful conference for reforming the nation's sex offender laws to date. So for that, we should thank them for their efforts.

The vigilantes did what they could to sabotage the conference. They sent out their propaganda pages to the local media. Now, I'm not exactly trusting of the media. However, the media's skepticism of the info sent to them by the trolls led them to genuine interest in the RSOL Conference. The coverage was non-stop. As a result, a number of local registrants discovered the movement. RSOL-New Mexico's membership grew in numbers. People stopped in to share their stories and join the cause.

The media tried upselling the "controversy" aspect, of course. There was eve a town hall meeting set up by the APD to address the "controversy." The only controversy was the number of people who showed up. Three people, not counting police and RSOL members- counting them, that was seven people. I guess the trolls were expecting people rioting in the streets or something. Well, there was not. We were not targeted. The three day event went off flawlessly. What the conference DID receive from the locals was new membership. Maybe the media should no have mentioned they only received a dozen emails and calls, pretty much all I'm sure came from Davie, FL, Jacksonville, FL, and Nashville, TN, not Albuquerque, NM.

Maybe now, the trolls will realize all their blind hatred and stupidity is not shared with the public as a whole. People who were truly curious as to what the reform movement stands for can simply see the fruits of our labor, not just what some group of haters have to say. Many showed up to thank the RSOL for fighting these laws.

Were there supposed to be protests against the conference? I haven't seen them. Maybe they took that proverbial wrong turn like Bugs Bunny?

And then the trolls claimed certain speakers were not going to attend the conference due to their "efforts." Wonder who they thought were speaking at the event? Because every keynote speaker RSOL put on the schedule was there, on time and available after the conference to speak to the media. Hm. Maybe they thought Walsh and Lunsford was going to show up? Maybe they should've "taken that left toyn at Al-bu-koy-kie"  as well.

All in all, if our wonderful troll buddies did anything for us, it was giving us free publicity. So we should thank them for all their hard work  in promoting the cause.

If you get off on thoughts of rape, that makes you a rapist

The infamous Jesus quote essentially means your thoughts are connected to your actions. It makes me wonder what members of Absolute Zero United members do behind closed doors. Apparently their favorite fantasy involves me and a rendition of Deliverance while in prison. But just like the movie Deliverance, their sick little fantasy is a complete work of fiction. It must really eat at them I went through prison without having to "fight or fuck". (I was never charged with forcible rape, either, by the way, but AZU is illiterate on top of being chickenshits).

Still, the thought of them getting off on the thought of a grown man getting raped is disturbing. Perhaps that is why other child advocates have nothing to do with them:

The AZU member, here hiding behind the generic screen name "Saul" gets off on prison rape. That's par for AZU/EU members. I love the comment about how prisoners are "not really humans." It reminds me of Nazi Propaganda. "Jews aren't really human, so do what you want to them." Any wonder why no one takes AZU seriously?

The Big Lie

If you tell a big enough lie and do it long enough, you can fool the ignorant masses to do believing damn near anything. Each of the groups and people targeted by this blog have not only bought the BIG LIE, they help propagate it. In the case of the closely knit groups tied to Absolute Zero United, the CREATE the BIG LIE.

The easiest way for Hitler to silence the Jews was to dehumanize them and blame them for everything under the sun, praying on the general fear and inorance of a people still recovering from WW1. AZU type groups attack by dehumanizing, comparing all opponents to "NAMBLA". Consider the following statement from Stitches 77:

Patty Wetterling's "crime" that drew the ire of AZU? She released an article calling for reforming sex offender laws. It is a common tactic to dehumanize someone by comparing them to the worst possible person out there. Ironically the man who made this technique popular is the the person most point to as the most evil person in history. This is the person AZU mimics the most, after all.

Quick, brand them as sex offenders, then deny we do it!"

Each group I tagged have done the same, exploiting the fear and ignorance of the populace for fame and fortune. People believe those lies, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. However, there will come a time when people begin to see through those lies and see the truth behind the Big Lie. For the Germans, it took utter humiliation and their misdeeds exposed for the world to see. 

Thankfully, people are beginning to see the truth. Maybe that is why most of these groups, except the NCMEC, are considered fringe groups with few members and little support. Stand up to the BIG LIE and demand the truth.

Today's word lesson: hyperbole

Today's showcase is hyperbole. Hyperbole is an exaggerated statement. You see a lot of that on the AZU website or during those rare times the trolls venture from their little nests. See the following statement from Stitches 77, the queen of cognitive distortions:

AZU intentionally looks for the numbers that look the largest and run with it, despite having no references, only exaggerations. That is why armchair vigilantes cannot understand the complexity of statistics. Stats are college level courses. AZU consists of bored housewives with no credentials and no education. Sadly, so are many other so-called child victim advocates.

WHO claims 60 MILLION survivors? Besides AZU, just a handful of other misguided groups. Thankfully most people understand that as bullshit. When was AZU ever quoted as a legitimate reference? Answer: NEVER.

Logical Fallacies: The Weak Analogy

AZU hasn't been discussed here much any more. Quite frankly, they are no longer relevant, though they flounder with the same playbook like a noob Madden player who picks the Hail Mary pass over and over again. But they make plenty of good examples for studying logical fallacies.

Today's lesson is known as the "Weak Analogy:"

AZU argues because so-called "hard-core pedophile activists" and sex offender reformists share some common goals then they must be one and the same. The Black Panthers and Martin Luther King both shared some common goals like the eradication of discrimination against African-Americans, therefore MLK was a militant racist thug who believed in killing to get what he wants, right? According to AZU logic, the answer would be yes.

I don't follow NAMBLA, but facing the same general direction does not make "pro-pedo" groups and SO reformists the same. The terms pedophile and sex offender are not mutually exclusive terms, and the two groups are not mutually exclusive.

It is entirely possible for someone with ulterior motives to join a group contrary to their status in life. For example, Absolute Zero United has two repeat sex offenders in their dwindling group.

Weak analogy

Definition: Many arguments rely on an analogy between two or more objects, ideas, or situations. If the two things that are being compared aren't really alike in the relevant respects, the analogy is a weak one, and the argument that relies on it commits the fallacy of weak analogy.

Example: "Guns are like hammers—they're both tools with metal parts that could be used to kill someone. And yet it would be ridiculous to restrict the purchase of hammers—so restrictions on purchasing guns are equally ridiculous." While guns and hammers do share certain features, these features (having metal parts, being tools, and being potentially useful for violence) are not the ones at stake in deciding whether to restrict guns. Rather, we restrict guns because they can easily be used to kill large numbers of people at a distance. This is a feature hammers do not share—it would be hard to kill a crowd with a hammer. Thus, the analogy is weak, and so is the argument based on it.

If you think about it, you can make an analogy of some kind between almost any two things in the world: "My paper is like a mud puddle because they both get bigger when it rains (I work more when I'm stuck inside) and they're both kind of murky." So the mere fact that you can draw an analogy between two things doesn't prove much, by itself.

Tip: Identify what properties are important to the claim you're making, and see whether the two things you're comparing both share those properties.

(Not to be confused with Alison Shea, aka "Del Harvey", another worthless PJ troll who now works for Twitter). Pee-Jers always use screen names of popular items, in this case a name from the book "A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", which is fitting because this woman is a regular space cadet.

So just who is Cynthia/Dale Harvey? A modern day Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde. She doesn't seem to know who she is. For pretty much all of this year, I have been using this blog to raise awareness of other vigilantes like Barbara Farris and Danielle Schneider, who are exploiting sex offenders for personal game. That is pretty low. However, this site was (and still is) primarily a blog about Absolute Zero United, a ragtag bunch of cowardly online cyberbullies and make anonymous threats. My feud with them has been well documented. They lie about me, I post the truth about them. I've pretty much OWNED them. I've enjoyed a break from them but they are back in time to laugh at the death of a great person.

Comments like these make it obvious AZU only exists to troll. Well, Karma is a "Stitch," and someday it will be returned to them tenfold. The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. Here they are attacking SOSEN CEO Mary Duval, a TRUE hero in every sense of the word, after a long battle with illness.

It is funny how they still defend Clay Keys, but they have no morals. It is funny how now Stitches is talking about praying to God after stating in other places she was pagan/ atheist. I have Stitches all figured out. Like Clay Keys, she is a pedophile who is trying to "out" others to keep the heat off herself. She's also the classic troll. Today's she's claiming Christian but tomorrow she'll go on another blog and bash believers.

And they do more to bash victims than any group out there. Do I need remind them about bashing Patty Wetterling and spreading a rumor she has a son on the sex offender registry?

I looks like Absolute Zero United has put an end to their pointless boycott of Amazon.com, a place they claimed "promoted pedophilia," despite the fact many anti-sex offender groups, like Parents for Megan's Law or John Walsh. I doubt you can call THEM pro-pedophile!

Pot v. Kettle: Mental issues prevalent at PJAZ cult

AZU loves to blast their targets for "having mental issues." Mental illness is a serious issue, and people with it endure many hardships in this country. That being said, should the PJAZ cult mock another person's struggles with mental illness? After all, they have admitted to it themselves over the years on their own website.

Should these people be Internet Cops?

Almost five years ago, we published an article entitled "Is the perverted-justice jury biased?". In the article, we provided a list of quotes from postings written by the members and staff at perverted-justice.com. The purpose of the article was to raise awareness regarding issues of drug use and the psychological and mental stability issues prevalent among the volunteers at perverted-justice who were acting as self-appointed cops, judges and juries of those they targeted.

It has always been our firm belief that anyone involved in any pursuit that has the potential to have a lasting negative impact on someone else's life must be held to a higher standard of accountability and trustworthiness. Police undergo rigorous psychological testing, training and continuous counselling to ensure they are fit for the duties we, as citizens, request of them. Drug use is not tolerated, and thorough, professional treatment and counselling is mandatory for those who find themselves in need. Under such circumstances, a police officer would certainly be temporarily suspended from duties that required trust and public confidence.

As with the article five years ago, the point of this article is not to "show how crazy PJers are" or anything of the sort. Our intention is not to mock or identify anyone who suffers from mental disorders or who has suffered abuse. We are very much aware that many people who have been diagnosed with mental illness or have suffered abuse go on to lead productive, fulfilling lives. Rather, the point of this article is to ask the question:

"Given the circumstances, is it likely that these people, people who could potentially ruin someone's life, have the ability to make fair, impartial, error-free judgements regarding those they target?"

So after my hospitalization I was put on meds and feel so so much better. I have to follow up with a psych but i don't want to. Its not that i don't want to it's that i cant I somehow feel weak and vulnerable if i follow up. I work in a business where on the outside I have to always seem perfect and put together even if i'm falling apart on the inside.

After seeing so many family members hospitalized for mental illnesses and me always being the strong and put together one I don't know how to ask for and get help.

I have also been on many different SSRI's for it, from paxil to prozac, zoloft to effexor and many others. Effexor was the worst, and most heavy duty. The rest didn't really affect me.

After years of trying to convince doctors, as well as my parents on whose insurance I depend, that I have some serious anxiety issues, I managed to finally have an anti-depressant/anxiety drug prescribed to me. It's a typical Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitor (SSRI) called Lexapro. I've struggled with ADD all of my life, and many of my issues with productivity and self esteem were attributed to that. The decision to do this came when I described the anxiety to my father, who is also taking Lexapro. My description of the anxiety-a constant, unbound existential fear of absolutely nothing that makes me terrified to do my work or stuff I want to do on the side-was exactly what he had been feeling, and it was evident that it's been getting worse. I can't sleep, and it takes excruciating mental energy to set out to do even the most modest task. I frequently panic when little things go wrong.

I was on lexapro for depression and anxiety-- it worked really well. I had been on wellbutrin (before my anxiety had been diagnosed) and it was horrific. I began cutting and realized that the meds weren't helping me. Quit them and got on lexapro.

I was on Prozac, Adderall and Clonazepam for depression, PTSD and anxiety. I didn't like the way the cocktail made me feel so I went to a different therapist and she diagnosed me as Bipolar. All the symptoms made a lot more sense after that Dx. I now take Depakote ER and a very LOW dose of clonazepam (mostly at work when my menopausal boss raises my thermostat) and its been a miracle. I used to never speak my mind, bottle it up and then if a dishrag was out of place BOOM i exploded. Now, I can say what I think, concentrate better and deal with things. If your diagnosed w/ both depression and ADD, ask your shrink about Bipolar disorder. I'm not a shrink, nor am I questioning anyone elses, but DAMN did it make a difference for me!

I have had most of these feelings at some point. Depression, SERIOUS TRUST ISSUES, thoughts of suicide, panic attacks, self esteem, need for acceptance, etc. etc. The biggest is trust. There are very few people I truly trust, they are some members of my immediate family and one friend. I still don't totally trust even my husband. It's very hard for me. I have finally started going to therapy to try and help myself. I have been diagnosed with Depression w/suicidal tendencies and PTSD. Even though I never attempted them when they were around.
Those were just a select few. I highlighted a few spots in red because one site that attacks me loves to claim I "have mental illness, violent urges, and cuts himself." I don't question they have mental issues. I pity them. But what benefit do they get from mocking someone else's struggles when they clearly admit to their own struggles with mental illness? That is a major problem with the Perverted Justice/ Absolute Zero United cult.

Allow us to dissect the distortions.

#1: Pope: What does it mean to speak of child protection when pornography and violence can be viewed in so many homes through media widely available today?

AZU Read: Its society's fault when a pedophile molests a kid because after all pornography and violence can be seen in the media.

Truth: The Pope is addressing the fact that violence and pornography is so prevalent in our society that it has a negative influence on our behavior, which increases the likelihood of sexual offending to occur in society. AZU forgets that some people, such as REAL victim's rights groups, seek to address the root causes of sexual offending. Most researchers, including those AZU use in justifying their views, agree that our environment does negatively impact sexual offending behavior. That is not placing the blame, AZU, it is called identifying a problem area. In order to address root causes, we must look at aggravating factors and identify them. Using AZU's distorted logic, if you admit there is evil in the world, you support evil. Weird, huh?

#2 Pope: Those who "have experienced shame over what has occurred" deserve guidance and support.

AZU Read: Its the offenders we need to focus on and stop worrying about those pesky victims.

They didn't bother even giving a direct quote. Offenders and victims alike need to address the gravity of what has happened and pursue ways to heal from this terrible tragedy. AZU sees it as shifting focus "away from victims." Really? Victims experienced shame over what has happened to them. AZU does not believe in guidance and support for crime victims.
