Pot v. Kettle: Mental issues prevalent at PJAZ cult

AZU loves to blast their targets for "having mental issues." Mental illness is a serious issue, and people with it endure many hardships in this country. That being said, should the PJAZ cult mock another person's struggles with mental illness? After all, they have admitted to it themselves over the years on their own website.

Should these people be Internet Cops?

Almost five years ago, we published an article entitled "Is the perverted-justice jury biased?". In the article, we provided a list of quotes from postings written by the members and staff at perverted-justice.com. The purpose of the article was to raise awareness regarding issues of drug use and the psychological and mental stability issues prevalent among the volunteers at perverted-justice who were acting as self-appointed cops, judges and juries of those they targeted.

It has always been our firm belief that anyone involved in any pursuit that has the potential to have a lasting negative impact on someone else's life must be held to a higher standard of accountability and trustworthiness. Police undergo rigorous psychological testing, training and continuous counselling to ensure they are fit for the duties we, as citizens, request of them. Drug use is not tolerated, and thorough, professional treatment and counselling is mandatory for those who find themselves in need. Under such circumstances, a police officer would certainly be temporarily suspended from duties that required trust and public confidence.

As with the article five years ago, the point of this article is not to "show how crazy PJers are" or anything of the sort. Our intention is not to mock or identify anyone who suffers from mental disorders or who has suffered abuse. We are very much aware that many people who have been diagnosed with mental illness or have suffered abuse go on to lead productive, fulfilling lives. Rather, the point of this article is to ask the question:

"Given the circumstances, is it likely that these people, people who could potentially ruin someone's life, have the ability to make fair, impartial, error-free judgements regarding those they target?"

So after my hospitalization I was put on meds and feel so so much better. I have to follow up with a psych but i don't want to. Its not that i don't want to it's that i cant I somehow feel weak and vulnerable if i follow up. After seeing so many family members hospitalized for mental illnesses and me always being the strong and put together one I don't know how to ask for and get help.

well, comming from an addict/alcoholic, which I am in recovery....I had to hit a bottom before I got better. So yea, I still think those who cant keep it straight should have consequence for those actions such as drug testing or rent. At least when it comes to getting assistance like this. I have also been on many different SSRI's for it, from paxil to prozac, zoloft to effexor and many others. Effexor was the worst, and most heavy duty. The rest didn't really affect me.

After years of trying to convince doctors, as well as my parents on whose insurance I depend, that I have some serious anxiety issues, I managed to finally have an anti-depressant/anxiety drug prescribed to me. It's a typical Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitor (SSRI) called Lexapro. I've struggled with ADD all of my life, and many of my issues with productivity and self esteem were attributed to that. The decision to do this came when I described the anxiety to my father, who is also taking Lexapro. My description of the anxiety-a constant, unbound existential fear of absolutely nothing that makes me terrified to do my work or stuff I want to do on the side-was exactly what he had been feeling, and it was evident that it's been getting worse. I can't sleep, and it takes excruciating mental energy to set out to do even the most modest task. I frequently panic when little things go wrong.

I was on lexapro for depression and anxiety-- it worked really well. I had been on wellbutrin (before my anxiety had been diagnosed) and it was horrific. I began cutting and realized that the meds weren't helping me. Quit them and got on lexapro.

I was on Prozac, Adderall and Clonazepam for depression, PTSD and anxiety. I didn't like the way the cocktail made me feel so I went to a different therapist and she diagnosed me as Bipolar. All the symptoms made a lot more sense after that Dx. I now take Depakote ER and a very LOW dose of clonazepam (mostly at work when my menopausal boss raises my thermostat) and its been a miracle. I used to never speak my mind, bottle it up and then if a dishrag was out of place BOOM i exploded. Now, I can say what I think, concentrate better and deal with things. If your diagnosed w/ both depression and ADD, ask your shrink about Bipolar disorder. I'm not a shrink, nor am I questioning anyone elses, but DAMN did it make a difference for me!

It's not just related to school and work; it extends to everything in my life, whether it's making a phone call, paying bills, cleaning my house, and some days, even getting out of bed. I have had most of these feelings at some point. Depression, SERIOUS TRUST ISSUES, thoughts of suicide, panic attacks, self esteem, need for acceptance, etc. etc. The biggest is trust. There are very few people I truly trust, they are some members of my immediate family and one friend. I still don't totally trust even my husband. It's very hard for me. I have finally started going to therapy to try and help myself. I have been diagnosed with Depression w/suicidal tendencies and PTSD. My husband is divorcing me because I have put him through a lot and he doesn't want to deal with it anymore. He knew about the abuse before we were married but he didn't realize what I would go through when I started dealing with the abuse. I am afraid of losing my children because of the suicide attempts. Even though I never attempted them when they were around.
Those were just a select few. I highlighted a few spots in red because one site that attacks me loves to claim I "have mental illness, violent urges, and cuts himself." I don't question they have mental issues. I pity them. But what benefit do they get from mocking someone else's struggles when they clearly admit to their own struggles with mental illness? That is a major problem with the Perverted Justice/ Absolute Zero United cult.

It does not take a licensed psychologist to see that PJ/AZ is merely exacerbating the serious and largely unresolved mental issues plaguing their members.

Ah, independent crime blogs. They spring up in just about every locale in America. They are generally run by lookey-loos with no social life, crackpots, and people who generally want a society filled with people like them. So now AZU alum joins other crackpots like Shoalanda and Rusty from Big 3 News to form his own local crime blog, "Greenville Dragnet." Anyone can run a blog and comment about other people, but the biggest difference between independent news blogs and the REAL news is, the REAL news is more likely to rly upon VALID sources, NOT trashy gossip sites like AZU or Wikisposure for news. When has a REAL media outlet ever quote Wikisposure as a valid source? When has ABC News done a story on AZU?

When the news is wrong, they are held liable. Independent news blogs should be held to the same standard, but yet they lack journalistic integrity. I feel for the city of Greenville. After all, you have to put up with a "Zionist anti-communist" who thinks this site is a front for the Red Army. I'm no fan of independent crime blogs. Shoalanda Speaks BS

First of all, I would like to thank T-Sand for proving once and for all how people like "Shoalanda Speaks" and others who allegedly abhor sex offenders but yet compromises those alleged principles when she wishes to attack someone, a la Absolute Zero United.

Meet "Shoalanda Speaks." Probably every town has one of these local personal opinion blogs of area events and politics, along with a local "crime blog." These people, much like a certain Ohio online new rag (*cough*Rusty*Big 3 News*cough*), are not legitimate news reporters, merely someone who has a blog and an opinion. No matter how legit they try to be (like Big 3 News making its site looking like the local news station sites), the simple fact is, they are not. "Shoalanda Speaks" is one of those kind of people. Unlike the REAL news, people like Shoalanda do not rely on stuff like credible sources or ethical reporting.

A few weeks ago, Shoalanda wrote an article attacking me. I'm rather used to it because of my line of work in addition to hosting this fact blog on AZU's tactics, but this time I felt threatened because #1 I felt legitimately threatened by her blog (I'm not too keen on people who feel we should be branded), #2, Shoalanda relied on Wikisposure as a legit reference (a reporter's faux pas), and #3, she posts a picture of someone who has absolutely nothing to do with my case whatsoever and made her a potential targetfor dumb fucks who probably don't realize we've been divorced since the mid-90s, a year and a half BEFORE my arrest (Thanks again to T Sand for showing more examples of his lack of reading comprehension).

Not content with her stupidity, Shoalanda blatantly defended her actions and made the mistake of recruiting TSand in her personal attack, forwarding emails which has landed on his blog.

T-Sand was more than happy to run his mouth and blatantly show his connection in the latest attack by posting it on his Roar for Untruth blog:

I honestly hope Shoalanda's readers see this and think long and hard about who she is and represents. Shoalanda tells her readers this:

"we will not accept any blogs that support rapists, pedophiles, etc.--that should be self-explanatory."

Yet, she consorts with T-Sand, a convicted sex criminal and repeat offender. This is what we call in these parts HYPOCRISY!

In light of Rob Taylor's most recent comments, I thought I'd bring something up. Rob Taylor is a hypocrite. You can't expect anything less from a bona fide conspiracy nutjob like him, but he's even worse than your average nutjob. Recently I had brought up the fact that many pagan groups tolerate pedophilia, and he claimed I "knew nothing about paganism." (By the way Robbie, I know more about it than you do, apparently). But anyways, on his PACA profile page, he says just the opposite:

Considering some of the comments Violent Leaves has left at AZU over the years, it doesn't look like therapy has helped her any. Thankfully not everyone feels the same way she does. In addition to doubting Violent Leaves' background (personally I think it is nothing but a front to justify their cyber-bullying), I question her sanity.

Here comes the justification part. Stitches 77 boldly exclaims repeatedly that we accuse them of "stalking and harassment" for "merely expressing their opinions." I've covered in detail already what they mean by merely expressing an opinion here:

Choking to death on a cheese sandwich

Stitches keeps bringing this up in attacks on eAdvocate’s blog, which repeats stuff that was in the news, so I thought it was time I’d address this idiotic comment on AZU’s blog.

DOVER — A 22-year-old Huntington's disease victim who was denied a bed in a state health care facility because he was a registered sex offender choked to death Monday at a Dover mental health clinic. Family members said they were told that Joseph Heverin, 22, whose muscle control had deteriorated to the point where he often fell and had to be put in a wheelchair, choked to death on a sandwich at Dover Behavioral Health Systems. "He was dead when he got to the hospital," said Heverin's brother, Paul Vrem.

Vrem said he learned of his brother's death after driving to Dover Behavioral to pick him up for a dental appointment. "They told me that he had choked on a grilled cheese sandwich and that they were administering CPR," Vrem said. DBHS chief operating officer William Weaver and other clinic officials did not immediately return telephone messages seeking comment.

Colin Faulkner, director of public safety for Kent County, said paramedics were dispatched to Dover Behavioral Health shortly before 12:30 p.m. in response to a report of a person choking. "It would appear that he went into cardiac arrest, full arrest, as the result of an unresolved choking incident," Faulkner said. Jay Lynch, a spokesman for the state Department of Health and Social Services, confirmed Heverin's death.

Heverin's mother, Dianne Vrem, said Dover Behavioral officials kept family members in a waiting room until Heverin had been taken away by ambulance, and that Kent General officials also refused her request to be with her son. "I just wanted to hold him and let him know that his mom was there," she said.

A spokeswoman for Kent General did not immediately return a telephone message Monday afternoon. Last week, Heverin was the subject of an Associated Press article describing the bureaucratic limbo in which his criminal past and his disease — an incurable, degenerative neurological disorder that also killed his father and other family members — had left him.

Officials at Dover Behavioral, a short-stay psychiatric facility where Heverin had been admitted last summer for treatment of depression, had sought and received court permission to discharge him, arguing that he is not mentally ill. He remained at the facility as his guardianship case worked its way through the court system.

Even though a court declared Heverin "a disabled person" who was "unable to act in his own best interest," health and social service officials refused to place him in state-run long-term care facility. They argued that he was neither developmentally disabled nor mentally ill. The primary reason for their opposition, however, was that Heverin was a registered sex offender. He had twice been convicted of unlawful sexual contact, incidents that his supporters believe stemmed from the effects of Huntington's disease, a hereditary disorder that has been linked with inappropriate sexual behavior.

Dover Behavioral officials said they had tried repeatedly for more than a year to find placement options for Heverin, but no facility was willing to take him. Kristopher Starr, an attorney appointed as a fact-finder in Heverin's guardianship case, submitted a report earlier this month excoriating state officials for refusing to place Heverin in a skilled nursing facility, at least not until he is "bedridden." "They finally got what they wanted; they won't have to deal with the problem anymore," Paul Vrem said Monday.

It was more than an act of a “sex offender choking on a grilled cheese sandwich.” The reality is far more sinister. I guess we can count out knowledge of basic body functions as a requirement of AZU membership. The fact is the man had a degenerative condition that made him struggle to maintain control of his body, in particular, muscle functions. By the way, when we eat, we use our muscles to swallow and pull it through the esophagus and into the stomach. It wasn’t your average case, it was a case of gross negligence on the part of the system left to care for a terminally ill man, a man denied services simply because of his status as a registrant, a man who was having trouble with muscular functions, which obviously includes eating; a grilled cheese sandwich would not be an appropriate meal in this case. American jurisprudence considers negligent death murder, and if the victim was not a sex offender, the family would have won a wrongful death lawsuit easily.

ADDENDUM

This comment from an anonymous poster helps the reader unerstand the "grilled cheese choking death" story posted at eAdvocate's blog, written into one long sentence, which will no doubt further confuse and aggravate the intellectually challenged AZU troll:

If certain people would learn to read (i.e., the tags at the end of a case) then they would know how a case is broken down; As to the cheese sandwich case, he was forced into a facility which could not handle his medical conditions because the proper facilities would not accept him due to his SO status; That case is flagged: "Substantially caused by a SO Law, not by vigilantes;" Her construction is actually a misconstruction due to her failure to read what is posted.

Impersonation 101

Here's members of AZU doing what they do best, impersonating people. They make fake profiles of people and post under their names. Makes you wonder how much stuff that goes on there that is simply made up by AZU. After all, they never truly allow opposing opinions at AZU. Go there and try it out if you don't believe me. It makes me wonder if ANY posts presented at AZU are ever true. Of course, they do they very things they whine about others doing. They embrace the same guy that spent years blasting them and impersonating them; integrity has never been a requirement at AZU. ROFL @ Stitches and TSand. Stitches a "famous anti-pedophile activist?" Famous as a crackpot, maybe! And TSand was just a troll. Eventually he'll get pissed off at AZU and turn on them again.

PS: Jacey needs to work on her math skills. Somehow she believes $300 = $15. Apparently basic math skills are not an AZU requirement, either. I guess that explains why AZU is always misreading statistics.

Basic AZU Cognitive Distortions 102- Do as we say not as we do

AZU always points an accusing finger at sex offender activists, stating they should "accept responsibility for their actions" and to shut up. Yet, not one AZU member mentioned that their buddy Judy Cornett is trying to solicit funds to overturn her son's conviction. No one at AZU has stated "Judy, man up and accept responsibility and stop lobbying for your criminal son." No one at AZU has said, "Hey Judy, you're justifying and nimimizing your son's bad behavior. You're enabling violent behavior."

Of course not. I wonder where Judy was while her son was turning to a life of crime. Hell, maybe he read enough of the crap AZU writes there to feel justified in trying to take another man's life. And Judy was too busy harassing area sex offenders to care. I wonder if Judy spent any time warning her neighborhood of the gangbangers her son affiliated with.

But if you DO hear a peep out of them, it is to say that Judy's son's a victim. He was a victim of a sex crime years ago. However, does that excuse him from obeying the law years later? AZU certainly thinks so. I suppose they'll claim Judy's son's victim was a sex offender.

PS: As an aside, I think it funny TSand's demanding I put certain disclaimers on my page, while his own Roar For Lies blog has no such disclaimer. Again, another hypocritical statement from AZU.

Every time I read anything Stitches 77 says while trying to debate facts with anyone, or even discussing anything outside the realm of ad hominem attacks, lame impersonations, blatant lies, and kill em' all chanting, she's as lost as a Brit at an American Football game. The more you read, the more apparent her clueless nature is obvious.

Stitches makes four key distortions in her tirade. Perhaps her desire to attack Mary made her sloppy. Stitches misquotes a study, as usual, clipping what she thinks backs her up. And of course, since she sees all sex offenders (except Static and TSand) as subhuman, she forgets that she's talking not about a registered sex offender, but someone NOT on a registry.

It's all a simple formula. Target makes statement, Stitches hates target, if Stitches hates Target, then Target must be a liar, which means Target's statement is untrue.

Stitches forgets one important part of her argument. In addition to trying too hard (and failing miserably) to try to prove her wrong, she forgets to do her research. Funny thing is, she accuses Mary of being such a "bad" influence and a red flag, while studies show a primary trigger for relapse is stress caused by-- what else? -- vigilantes like Stitches harassing, threatening, and attacking registrants.

Distortion 101: Another study of AZU

Allow us to dissect the distortions.

#1: Pope: What does it mean to speak of child protection when pornography and violence can be viewed in so many homes through media widely available today?

AZU Read: Its society's fault when a pedophile molests a kid because after all pornography and violence can be seen in the media.

Truth: The Pope is addressing the fact that violence and pornography is so prevalent in our society that it has a negative influence on our behavior, which increases the likelihood of sexual offending to occur in society. AZU forgets that some people, such as REAL victim's rights groups, seek to address the root causes of sexual offending. Most researchers, including those AZU use in justifying their views, agree that our environment does negatively impact sexual offending behavior. That is not placing the blame, AZU, it is called identifying a problem area. In order to address root causes, we must look at aggravating factors and identify them. Using AZU's distorted logic, if you admit there is evil in the world, you support evil. Weird, huh?

#2 Pope: Those who "have experienced shame over what has occurred" deserve guidance and support.

AZU Read: Its the offenders we need to focus on and stop worrying about those pesky victims.

They didn't bother even giving a direct quote. Offenders and victims alike need to address the gravity of what has happened and pursue ways to heal from this terrible tragedy. AZU sees it as shifting focus "away from victims." Really? Victims experienced shame over what has happened to them. AZU does not believe in guidance and support for crime victims. Which AZU troll is most likely to go crazy in 2010?

As you can see, there is a new poll up to the right hand side of my blog, posing the question: Which AZU troll is most likely going to go off the deep end in 2010? They're all insane in the membrane, but if I had to place money on which one's most likely to turn into one of those mass murderers, which one is most likely to do it? Tough call. My money's on Logue Hater, though Violent Leaves takes a close second.

UPDATE: Static does admit he was on Wikisposure, but claims no correspondence between him and Pee-J.C'mon, Jeremy, you know better than that! AZU members created most RSO activist wikisposure pages. Don't play coy! At any rate, the fact remains Static was removed despite being a Tier 3 sex offender with multiple convictions, and AZU defends him rabidly. Either AZU is FINALLY admitting they can be wrong about those they've attacked and that sex offenders, including activists, can be rehabilitated, or they're merely being as hypocritical as I've said they are for two years.

So says T-Sand. Reformed huh? Well, hell, this must be some kind of miracle, because just a few months ago, TSand was pretending to be a girl on a blog, and even using Jessica Lunsford's avatar. Apparently the AZU formula for reform is bowing down to Stitches. Go figure. "Reformed?" YOU decide.

How did it all begin?

I've been feuding with the AZU cult for two years now, but I've never really talked about why I chose to post this counter site.

It all started in December 2007, when members of various organizations came together to protest the controversial Adam Walsh Act. Of course, there were a few representatives from Absolute Zero United, such as Tracy Golden (WASP Ohio) and Judy Cornett (Jacey) along with Jessica Cherchio (to be honest, I always believed her to be Stitches 77), some old lady with pink hair they called "Lil' Deb" (most likely "Violet Leaves") and some other older unidentified woman. The brought along members of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) in an attempt to scare would-be protesters.

The rally, held on December 2, 2007, called for reform of current sex offender laws, which promote vigilantism (which is the whole purpose of AZU of course). The testimony was powerful, and the protestors outnumbered the AZU/ BACA protestors 3 to 1. After the rally, I joined a small handful of people to confront the protestors. The BACA people largely agreed with my statements. Above, here are a couple of the BACA guys. This, of course, angered the AZU crew. Too bad my tape ran out before I had a chance to show the world how unprepared they were for a rational discussion. Of course, the WASP crew spent their time trying to attack people, as they are known to do:

First came this older lady. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if she was Stitches 77. She took a couple of research disks I helped created and then she tried to debate and was outclassed, so she sent in her dogs to engage in a round of personal attacks.

Next, I faced the two "ladies" holding the signs, the left one is Jessica Cherchio, the right one is Tracy Golden. They offered nothing but personal insults and attacks. They did not wish to discuss in a rational member, so we left them and went on about our business.

Of course, for my troubles I get my face (doctored with a quivering graphic) on the AZU report on the rally, along with my address and other personal information. Funny, the only one quivering was the WASP members, nor should Tracy and Jessica talk about anyone's looks since they were both far from attractive.

Apparently AZU harassed this guy so much he made is blog private. Why? Its one of the first places Stitches 77 made the bold claim Patty wetterling had a "sex offender son." For the next few months, I was followed around at every comment board by the clown who eventually became known as "Logue Hater:"

And of course, I had to contend with some idiot named Kevin Beaird, who was so off in the head, even Pee-J shunned him!

Some things never change, eh? As long as AZU exists, so will the anti-AZU site.

Yes, to a certain extent but if the offender seeks proper mental help & has not re offended in say 10 years, then remove them to a law enforcement only website. If the pedophile wasn't able to turn himself in a mental hospital or to the police beforehand, Yes, suicide would be the honorably option to peruse. I think there would be less spitting at his grave-site knowing the pedo took his own life before sexually abusing a child. I know I would spit less for him!

So Clay, word of advice, save the spit for your self, and turn yourself in to the police immediately!
