This is Donna Zink of Mesa, WA. She has been in the news recently for filing public records requests to obtain info on the state's Tier 1 registrants, which are not available online, and for good reason-- Washington has been a hotbead of vigilante activity, from the double homicides of 2005 to the Angry Tammy Gibson case, to the more recent Patrick Drum vigilante killings last summer.

This poss the question-- just who is Donna Zink? She's a former mayor and councilwoman of Mesa, a small "blink and you miss it" town is SE Washington state. That was a long time ago, so these days, she makes her living by abusing public records requests. She won a quarter-million-dollar lawsuit against the city for a public records request flub, so now, she is looking to make a quick buck elsewhere.

So now, she's found a way to make news again. Since Washington's Level 1 registrants are not available online, Donna Zink is looking to change that. Despite her claims to the contrary, she is abusing registry info.

Personally, I see nothing in the law that saws she is entitled to the Level 1 registry info. She cites RCW 4.24.550 as her justification, but the law says this about the release of Level 1 info:

 (3) Except for the information specifically required under subsection (5) of this section, local law enforcement agencies shall consider the following guidelines in determining the extent of a public disclosure made under this section: (a) For offenders classified as risk level I, the agency shall share information with other appropriate law enforcement agencies and, if the offender is a student, the public or private school regulated under Title 28A RCW or chapter 72.40 RCW which the offender is attending, or planning to attend. The agency may disclose, upon request, relevant, necessary, and accurate information to any victim or witness to the offense and to any individual community member who lives near the residence where the offender resides, expects to reside, or is regularly found;

  (5)(a) When funded by federal grants or other sources, the Washington association of sheriffs and police chiefs shall create and maintain a statewide registered kidnapping and sex offender web site, which shall be available to the public. The web site shall post all level III and level II registered sex offenders, level I registered sex offenders during the time they are out of compliance with registration requirements under RCW 9A.44.130, and all registered kidnapping offenders in the state of Washington.

Sounds like she's not entitled to the info, if you ask me, unless she lives all over Benton AND Franklin counties. She has publicly shown her battle HERE and HERE as well. She does admit that the registry is intended to punish, plus she illustrates the level of ignorance typical of someone with a television style education:

Last week, two skinheads killed a man on the registry and his wife. By now, a wealth of information has been released. Here is what we know so far, based on the myriad of media reports:

1. The couple were part of an online skinhead group called "Crew 41." Even before he murdered Charles Parker, this "man" was already being watched by groups like the "Anti-Defamation League."
2. Moody wrote a manifesto including a two-page rant about how sex offenders AND THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES should be murdered to keep the gene pool clean (see screen shots below). Amazingly, if you read the rant, it would read like rants of every other group I have ever showcased on this blog. 
3. The Anti-Defamation League noted their Facebook pages show that the couple were big fans of the disgusting show Dexter. 
4. Both Jeremy  and his wife Chris­tine fre­quently adopted the last name of “Men­gele” in their on-line post­ings; Josef Men­gele was the infa­mous Nazi doc­tor who per­formed med­ical exper­i­ments at Auschwitz and sending thoussands of women and children to the gas chambers. 
5. Ironically, the head of Colorado's chapter of Crew 41 is on the sex offender registry.

Sheriff: SC killer randomly targeted sex offender

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A South Carolina man targeted a sex offender at random, killed him and his wife and later told deputies he planned to kill others on the state's sex registry, authorities said Wednesday.

Jeremy Moody and his wife, Christine, were arrested and charged with murder, Union County Sheriff David Taylor said.

Jeremy Moody confessed to the crime and told investigators they arrested him just in time, Taylor said.

"He planned to kill another sex offender on the register today," the sheriff said.

Moody only knew 59-year-old Charles Parker in passing, but came to the mechanic's Jonesville home Sunday with plans to kill him, Taylor said at a news conference. Surveillance cameras outside Parker's home showed Moody and his wife driving up Sunday and popping the hood on their car as if it wasn't working, Taylor said.

The Moodys and the Parkers spoke to one another for about 10 minutes, then it appears the Moodys were invited inside. The videotape shows the suspects walking into the home with what appear to be weapons, Taylor said.

"He planned to kill this individual last year, but chickened out," The sheriff said. "But on Sunday, he decided he was going to kill him."

The sheriff said Moody recounted what he told Charles Parker: "You think I'm here to rob you. I'm not here to rob you. I'm here to kill you because you are a child molester."

Taylor said he does not know why Moody would have targeted a sex offender.

Both Charles Parker and his 51-year-old wife, Gretchen, were shot and stabbed. Taylor said Gretchen Parker wasn't specifically targeted, but was killed because she was in the house.

Jeremy Moody, 30, who lived in nearby Lockhart, confessed to deputies after he was arrested early Wednesday morning, investigators said. Moody has "skinhead" tattooed across his neck, and Taylor said he hinted to authorities he may have been involved with other crimes against people he hated. The sheriff said his deputies were checking with other law enforcement agencies nearby, but no additional charges had been filed. Investigators were also seeing if Moody was affiliated with any white supremacist groups.

Christine Moody, 36, hasn't spoken at length to deputies, the sheriff said. It wasn't immediately clear whether either suspect has an attorney.

The community where it happened is about 80 miles northwest of Columbia.

The Parkers had a yellow sign on their property with a smiley face that read, "Smile, you're on camera." Taylor said the video footage provided the break in the case when an investigator watched it and recognized the suspects. There was no video taken inside the home.

The bodies were discovered Monday when another person seeking to have his car fixed came to the home, saw the door wide open and called police. A deputy found the bodies, but investigators had to wait more than an hour to begin examining the scene because several Chihuahuas threatened emergency workers as they checked to see if the victims had a pulse. Animal control officers were called and removed about 18 dogs, several cats and a half-dozen chickens, authorities said.

Charles Parker had to register as a sex offender after he was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct about a decade ago. Details of that case were not immediately available.

Taylor said he always registered on time and never gave deputies trouble. Relatives of the slain couple were devastated to hear why their loved ones were killed.

"I ask that you give this family the opportunity to (grieve) and pull their thoughts together," the sheriff said.

"A Thorold woman whose home has been targeted in a poster campaign inaccurately claiming a sex offender is living in her residence says her family is afraid to go outside for fear of retribution.

"It's scary," said the Bolton Ave. woman, who didn't want to be identified. "It's literally just blossomed into this huge, huge thing that isn't even true."

But one of the men who handed out flyers warning residents that Shawn Michael Dunn is living in the house stands by them.

"If we had to do this whole thing again, we wouldn't hesitate doing it," said the Thorold resident, who said he distributed the flyers with members of the Ontario Coalition for Accountability.

About 200-300 of the flyers, titled "Attention Residents, For your protection," were distributed last Thursday on Bolton Ave and two blocks of surrounding areas, posted to telephone poles and at the nearby public pool.

They state Dunn is living at a Bolton Ave. address — an address that belongs to a friend, not him.

"I think it's terrible. They're picking on people that don't deserve it, the people who live at that address," Dunn told The Standard, adding he's worried about his friends and family who have been threatened since his release from jail earlier this month.

"If anybody is angry, they should be angry with me. Not my friends or family or people who know me."

Dunn said people don't know his whole story and he understands their fears.

"I know I did things wrong but now I can look forward, do my best," he said. "I was found guilty and I've got to do my best to look past that and get my life in order."

Dunn, 44, was found guilty by a jury on March 9, 2012 of two counts of sexual assault, assault by choking and sexual interference. The case involved allegations by two women, now in their 30s, who had separate sexual relationships with Dunn in the 1980s when he was a young man.

He was then convicted by a jury on May 3, 2012 of sexual exploitation, sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault from incidents in 2006 and 2010 involving two girls ages 10 and 14.

He was sentenced Nov. 5, 2012 to 54 months in custody for incidents dating from the 1980s and 2010, minus pre-sentence custody.

"There was never any intention of him going to Bolton Ave.," said Det. Const. Steve Canton, in charge of the Niagara Regional Police sex-offender registry.

Canton said he's prohibited by provincial law of disclosing information about the whereabouts of people on the sex-offender registry. But he said police were aware Dunn was getting out and where he was going and had no issue with the location.

"His location is well known. It is a safe location, the public is safe," he said.

Canton said the flyers from citizens targeting locations of sex offenders are not encouraged. In the case where an offender's actual location is published, the person could be attacked or could flee. He said police would no longer know where they are if that happened.

In this case, Canton said a friend of Dunn's is being taunted because of misinformation.

"They're making this a hazardous situation," he said.

Police do occasionally release information about sex offenders if they are deemed a high risk to re-offend. In this case, Dunn, who received provincial parole five months early, was not considered a high risk.

There are nearly 300 people on the sex-offender registry list living in Niagara.

The man who handed out the flyers, who spoke on anonymity for fear he'll be in trouble with police, said he and three others acted on a tip Dunn was seen at the residence. He said if there's a convicted sex-offender in the neighbourhood, parents should be aware. There are lots of children in the area and a pool within a five minute walk, he said.

He said residents who received flyers were receptive and happy to receive to information.

"We're not going to tolerate him in our community. We don't want him here," he said. "We're going to make it uncomfortable for him to stay."

The woman living in the house since December 2009 said she's afraid — not of her friend Dunn but of the people targeting her house. Her address has been shared dozens of times on Facebook, at the local pool and with neighbours. People won't speak to her, her landlord has called to find out what's going on. Her children 12, 15 and 22 are scared they'll be followed.

"My children are afraid. I'm afraid," she said. "He doesn't live here."

Ohio man fights Facebook FALSE accusations of rape

Just because it is on the Internet, it must be true, right?

Facebook is already a cancer on society. It is almost like the Stanford Prison Experiment on a grand scale; it has brought out the worst humanity has to offer. These are getting quite commonplace. At some point, you have probably seen a post similar to this: "Please share this, _____ is a child molester/ rapist/ sex offender/ pedophile, etc., and he got away with it/ is wanted by the cops, etc." People buy it hook, line and sinker.

At least in this instance, the allegation was proven FALSE. Apparently the post was made by a jaded ex-lover. But in the meantime, the man was harassed by cops and was in fear for his life. He was even slammed by a pig cop who didn't even fact check his own NCIC database before attacking the man. But the registry is such a "much needed" tool, people claim. Utter BS!

Chad Lesko says being threatened by a total stranger was his first clue something wasn't right. "I was walking at Highland Park yesterday, a guy comes up to me and said, ‘You shouldn't be around here, this is a kids' area, you're a rapist.' I'm like, ‘Excuse me, no I'm not.'"

On Monday, someone posting as Nicole McCarthy posted on Facebook Lesko's picture, saying, "He's wanted by Toledo Police for 4 counts of rape. He raped three little girls and his own son." It's a serious allegation which Lesko says isn't true. "My girlfriend told me it was on Facebook," he said. "I was like, ‘Okay, what's going on? Send me the link.' Then my friend told me about it, too, so I went to the link. I was like, ‘This is not true.'"

While Toledo Police say Lesko is not wanted on rape charges, that one post has been shared more than 20,000 times. "This is crazy, I'm scared to even walk down the street now because all of the drama that's been going on," he said. According to Lesko, Nicole McCarthy is a fake account set up by the mother of his son, and he's hoping to clear his name and put this in the past.

"It's getting aggravating because I'm trying to live my life, I'm not trying to do anything bad, I've changed my life around."

Viral Facebook Post Alleges Man Is a Wanted Rapist, But He's Not

Earlier this week, Toledo resident Chad Lesko was walking around a local park when an angry stranger approached the 23-year-old and told him he had to leave. “He just walks up to me and says, ‘You’re not allowed in this park because you’re a rapist,’” Lesko recalled yesterday over the phone. “I’m like, ‘No, I’m not!’”

What Lesko didn’t know was that a Facebook post accusing him of being a wanted child molester had gone viral. Except the allegations weren't true. Lesko was not wanted by the Toledo Police for anything.

A Juggalo who started attending church about eight months ago, Lesko went to a meeting there and someone called the authorities. "The church people had seen my picture on Facebook, so then the cops showed up and ran my name, but I had nothing come up," he told me. "When I was on the way home, I had another cop stop me and actually slam me to the ground because he thought I was wanted."

The Nicole McCarthy profile, a dummy page created by Lesko's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son (who confessed to posting the slanderous accusation on a local radio show), came down on Wednesday, but only after the false accusation had more than 30,000 shares.

“It really pisses me off because I would never do that," Lesko said. "I was abused as a child and beaten as a child and I’m really against that. If you have to put your hands on a child, that’s the lowest way to go.”

Tim Caya of the Facebook "Missing" page is full of Caca

This is Tim Caya of the Facebook page "Missing," which features missing person cases. I'm not against that at all; in fact I support those efforts. What I am against, however, is a person who uses that cause as a platform to spread hate. A few days ago, this guy posted the following rant on his "Missing" page:

No Peace For Predators suggests using sex offenders for organ harvesting

The douchbag trio of Britt(ney) P. Warden, Peter(less) Mason, and David "The Crybaby" Rowe make up the axis of evil that is No Peace For Predators. They are a waste of humanity in their own right, and have kept a rather low profile since David Rowe was embarrassed by his own local media last summer. So they've been hiding on their own site like the filthy cockroaches they are. That is a good thing, since they constantly fantasize about murder.

On a related topic, I'd love to hear an explanation as to why advocating for the restoration of the former offender is somehow "pouring salt on the wounds of victims." A POLITICAL activist who says his life has been ‘shattered’ by false rape claims is returning to Weston to begin a fight for new laws to protect people from malicious allegations.

"The worst thing was knowing that I would either be going to prison as an innocent man, or walking away with my life in ruins. "
Malcolm Blackman made national headlines two weeks ago when he went on trial at the Old Bailey accused of raping a woman at the Occupy London demonstration at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Jurors have since cleared the 46-year-old of any wrong-doing – and now Mr Blackman says he wants to return home ‘with his head up high’ and campaign to save others from having their lives ‘ruined’ in the same way.

Formal ‘not guilty’ verdicts were recorded on both charges against Mr Blackman on May 3, and now he faces the task of piecing together a life which has been on hold for more than a year.

Mr Blackman – the co-founder of activist movement Anonymous UK – told the Mercury: “The whole situation has been horrendous.

"We live in a make-believe world where people are innocent until proven guilty - but I had to prove my innocence. 
"
“All year, people have been told I am a rapist. Life will never be the same again.

“There will always be that stigma attached to me. There will always be people who are wondering ‘I wonder if he just got away with it’.

“The worst thing was knowing that I would either be going to prison as an innocent man, or walking away with my life in ruins.

“Completely vindicated as I was, it’s not going to change the fact that my life is shattered.”

Key video evidence and witness testimonies put Mr Blackman elsewhere at the time the woman – who cannot be named – claimed she was attacked.

And he now wants the law to do more to protect the identity of people accused of rape until their guilt is established.

Mr Blackman said: “We live in a make-believe world where people are innocent until proven guilty - but I had to prove my innocence.

“I expected British justice to do its thing. The CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) should have looked at this and seen it had no legs. They said they have to be sympathetic to the victim – but now I am the victim.

“I am 100 per cent behind anonymity for alleged victims of rape, as real victims must not be deterred from coming forward.

“But what I am going to be stamping my feet about and campaigning for is the need for anonymity for both parties.

“The law needs to be reviewed as a matter of urgency. The accused gets his life torn apart. It has cost me my career, my home.

“I had to go and see everyone in my life that matters to me. I told them ‘the first thing I need to say is I didn’t do it – the second is, you’d better sit down’.

“It’s a very difficult thing to try to explain something which is so alien to you.

“Even my sisters, like everyone else, just didn’t know. They were forced to question their faith in me.

“I’ve not slept, I’ve not eaten. I’ve lived with untold pressure. I have lost a lot of faith in humanity. I now have only a very few friends. And I have an absolute fear of women – I don’t intend to date ever again.”

The first step will be for Mr Blackman to return home to the town where he has lived for more than 20 years, and is well known for his work in the security industry and for his street act as a magician.

He said: “What I really want to do is get back to Weston and rebuild my life. I want to be able to walk around with my head up high. I want people to know the truth.

“I consider myself a decent citizen of Weston, and an asset to the town. I love it as home.

“I want to sit on the beach and watch the sun go down. Little things like that mean a lot now.

“But I will have to take it one day at a time because there have been no plans for me. How can you make plans when your life is in limbo?”

Apparently being a racist prick is okay so long as you target people on the registry

Apparently it is okay to be racist if you are targeting sex offenders these days. This is nothing new. A few years ago the KKK were recruiting members using sex offender flyers. Absolute Zero United leader Stitches77 was already featured on this site for her membership on a racist skinhead forum.

So it is no surprise the message boards are flooded with praise for a white supremacist who killed a man on the list. Consider this-- I find it hard to believe that these two men, who met in prison, didn't know each other's backgrounds. I am willing to bet there is more to the story.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A Northern California white supremacist convicted of killing a child molester has been sentenced to 26 years to life in prison, while his wife — convicted of being an accessory — will be released from jail in about two months, The Sacramento Bee reported (http://bit.ly/17D3Y4l ) Saturday.
Charles Francis Gaskins, 48, was sentenced Friday after pleading no contest in March for the killing of Neil Hayes in 2009. A probation report said Gaskins was a member of a supremacist group that required its members to attack anyone with a history of child molestation.
Gaskins and his wife — Sandra Sheaves — was living in a home she owned in Carmichael, a community outside of Sacramento, when they allowed the 66-year-old Hayes to move in. Gaskins had met Hayes while they were both serving time in prison, The Bee said.
When Sheaves discovered on the Megan's Law website that Hayes was a registered sex offender, she told Gaskins.
Gaskins and Sheaves confronted Hayes in the garage of the home, with Gaskins killing him by repeatedly hitting him in the head with a large rock, prosecutors said.
Hayes' body was later found dumped along the side of a rural road about 35 miles away in Placerville.
As part of his no-contest plea, Gaskins insisted authorities go easy on Sheaves, who also was charged with Hayes' murder.
Prosecutors agreed, allowing her to plead no contest to accessory to murder. Sheaves, 43, was sentenced to eight years in prison.
"In a way, you almost instigated this, by showing the information from Megan's Law to Mr. Gaskins," Sacramento Superior Court Judge Sharon Lueras said in sentencing Sheaves.
With time served and other factors, Sheaves is expected to be released in 66 days, according to her attorney, James Warden.

Then there is the comment section. How can legislators and courts read this and deny the public registry spurs violence? I also screenshot a few comments from level headed people but they were drowned out by the frothy, foam-at-the-mouth witch hunters. It is time we abolish the public registry.

Sara Ylen's pathological lying finally catches up with her

Who is Sara Ylen, you ask? She is a fairly well known rape "victim." So why did I use quotation marks around the term "victim" just now? Because her entire rape claim is false. And in an attempt to get more attention, she filed a false rape claim. And another. And now, she finally got arrested for filing a false felony and tampering with evidence. She could get up to 14 years in prison. She should serve at least the same amount as the man she falsely accused.

Sara Ylen claimed she was raped by a man in a Meijer parking light in broad daylight then picked her victim at random off of the public sex offender registry (making her relevant for this blog). The man she accused was convicted after less than one hour of jury deliberation, despite absolutely no evidence other than Sara Ylen's testimony, and in 2003 the man was sentenced to the maximum penalty, 15-35 years.

So while a man sat in prison for years, the victim of a false accusation, Ylen got a lot of attention. Her false rape case was featured on the Oxygen TV series "Captured." She spoke at rape awareness events like "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes." She even claimed she was battling cancer as a result of HPV she supposedly received from the rape that never occurred.

She needs professional help. She has made multiple accusations over the years so I suggest civil commitment.

A 38-year-old Lexington woman was taken into custody Thursday on charges of tampering with evidence and reporting a false felony in connection with a sexual assault she reported to police Sept. 18. She could be arraigned as early as Friday.

Sara Ylen was arrested Thursday in Lexington and transported to the St. Clair County jail, Maria Miller, Wayne County assistant prosecuting attorney, said in an email.

A report of a false felony is punishable by up to four years, while tampering with evidence is punishable by up to 10 years, Miller said.

Officials said Ylen reported the attack while in St. Clair County, but said it happened in Sanilac County.

Sanilac County Sheriff Garry Biniecki said Ylen alleged she had injuries related to the rape and was showing signs of bruising. But officers were able to determine the injuries were makeup, Biniecki said.

The cases ended up being handled by Wayne County prosecutors after St. Clair County Prosecutor Mike Wendling asked the state attorney general’s office to reassign the case due to his office’s relationship with Ylen in the James Grissom case.

Grissom was prosecuted and convicted of sexually assaulting Ylen in 2003. She said the attack happened in the parking lot of the Fort Gratiot Meijer.

Following the conviction, investigators in Michigan, California and Colorado determined Ylen had reported she had been sexually assaulted in other instances but could not substantiate those crimes.

Charges against Grissom were dropped after the Michigan Supreme Court granted Grissom a new trial after learning of the unsubstantiated claims.

Wendling requested the dismissal instead of a new trial, citing the length of time since the alleged incident and new evidence that had been discovered.

Grissom was released from custody Nov. 19, after almost a decade behind bars.

Separately, Michigan State Police Detective Sgt. Brian Ferguson is conducting a fraud investigation involving Ylen.

Ferguson said the case has been handed over to the Sanilac County Prosecutor’s Office.

Lucy Higgins, administrative assistant for Sanilac County Prosecutor James Young, said the fraud case is still in the process of review.

Details about that case have not been released.

The Times Herald normally does not identify victims of sexual assault. Ylen was identified when she asked the paper to tell her story.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A West Haven man is in critical condition after being shot in the groin while confronting a man who allegedly assaulted his niece, police said.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Monday, on Peck Street.

Police said 52-year-old Mickey Tillery, of West Haven, was shot in the groin after he confronted the man about a domestic dispute with his niece.

According to police, the victim of the domestic dispute had called her mother, telling her she'd been assaulted by her boyfriend, 30-year-old Jermaine Reddick.

The victim's mother and her uncle, Tillery, then drove there from West Haven. Reddick ended up shooting Tillery before fleeing with a friend in a grey Ford Escort station wagon.

The vehicle was spotted and stopped at Church and Chapel streets. Reddick, who was the passenger, was taken into custody. His gun, a 9mm Springfield Armory XD pistol was in his possession and retrieved, police said.

Reddick was wanted for a parole violation and was being sought by State Police.

Tillery was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he suffered a heart attack. He remains in critical, but stable condition.

Reddick was charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, third-degree domestic assault, risk of injury to a minor, and criminal use of a firearm.

His accomplice, 21-year-old Akeem Whitely, of Cedar Hill Avenue, in New Haven, was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, hindering prosecution, and weapon in a motor vehicle.

Anonymous give free publicity to obscure "Alice Day"

Only on the internet can one group of obscure anonymous individuals give another group of anonymous individuals an awful lot of attention. In laymen's terms, it is called "Free Advertising."

So the dumb fucks at Anonymous are giving free publicity to something called "Alice's Day," which they allege is some sort of day of recognition for "pedophiles." So Anonymous and their idiotic supporters did what they do best, advertise it to the world. So now they have succeeded in helping those who are into that sort of thing find each other. Way to go, Anonymous.

 What more do you expect from a bunch of computer nerds and idiot savants?

But we all know the truth. Anonymous is trying to divert attention away from its own scrutiny; it is currently under investigation by the FBI.

Anonymous is targeting every pedophile hub on the Web

In corners of the Internet that will make you ill, pedophiles wait to receive an onslaught of attacks. 

It's Alice Day, a public "pedophile pride" day inspired by the relationship between the author Lewis Carroll and his young muse, Alice Liddell, for whom Alice in Wonderland was written. April 25 is supposedly the day in 1856 that Carroll met 4-year-old Alice, sparking a lifelong infatuation. 

In one pedophile's own words, republished on a predator watchdog site, April 25 is a day to "rejoice in the gift of girllove and affirm the ideal so aptly typified by this special relationship." In 2013, it's also the day the hacker group Anonymous plans to bombard a long list of online targets with DDoS attacks, leaking suspects' personal information and defacing their websites. 

Anonymous began on the troll hub 4chan as a moral-free prank squad; it's since evolved into an amorphous group of vigilante justice crusaders. Determined the town of Steubenville, Ohio, was attempting to cover up rape allegations against two high school football stars, the hacktivists campaigned on Twitter and Facebook and brought the town into the public eye. The group has also led doxxing efforts against kitten-tormenting teens and the suspected blackmailer behind Canadian teen Amanda Todd's suicide.

I spoke briefly with one organizer of the event, which took the hashtag #OpAliceDay on Twitter. He told me it was business as usual—doxxing, defacing, "and having a little fun along the way." The campaign has hundreds of followers on Twitter, many of whom changed their names to #OpAliceDay in support.

April is child abuse awareness month. It's also "the month in which child rapists/molesters/'lovers' reserve for their special 'it's okay to sexually assault children' day," warns a 2010 article on Yahoo! Voices with the headline "WATCH YOUR CHILDREN." "Pink is NOT the color you want to dress your girls in either. Pink is their attraction."

On numerous unnameable forums, where adult men chat publicly about their love and affection for young girls and boys, users post about how they plan to celebrate Alice Day—often by wearing pink and spending time in parks to "LG (little girl) watch." Some might hand out pamphlets about CL, or "childlove," in an attempt to decrease stigma against and raise awareness of what to them is a significant social movement: pedophile pride.

These men claim they would never physically abuse or rape a child; it would be anathema to the childlove philosophy. They want to cuddle, kiss, hold, and otherwise express their affection for children—and if they can't in person, they'll do it from a distance, emboldened by Alice Day.

"I guess I will be doing what I do everyday, just hangout with friends and maybe if it's nice out, skateboard a bit etc," a man named FreeThinkerGL wrote in 2009. The quote was picked up from a pedophile hub by a watch blog called Lindsay Ashford. "I don't have a LGF so I won't be spending anytime with little girls or boys."

Another user, lall, wrote:

I think the t-shirt thing is just to wear any kind of a pink shirt on Alice Day. That way if any asks if you're a pedo, you can claim you have no idea what they're talking about...and how dare they insinuate such a thing! lol.

silentmist followed suit:

I will be spending the day at a local market filled with beautiful LG's. Kinda boring, but I will at least be wearing a pink t-shirt. I doubt anyone will catch on, but you never know ;-)

And Aladdin Truelove claims to have coined the term 15 years ago:

I am the one who suggested the name "Alice Day," way back on Ianthe's email list, in 1998. Feels good to be back in the land of the living!

These quotes are all three or four years old now, but the philosophy on these public forums is still ongoing and no less disturbing. Recently, followers of those pedophile hubs have taken their Alice Day preparation offline. On one forum Anonymous pointed me to, the only apparent threads about April 25, barely noticeable in conversations about watching children (possibly their own children) sleep and nudity-filled European '70s flicks, warn against the march of Anonymous.

"I think the admin are aware of this," the subject of one thread reads. The follow-up comment—by a user whose signature image is a drawing of a little girl in a dress, blowing bubbles in a field—sounds scornful: 

It's very ironic how they [Anonymous] claim to be all for freedom of expression on the internet, and, not just do they attack on us pedophiles (how's that being for freedom of expression, euh)? but in general, all the attacks they conduct, ARE a form of censorship. So, let me get this straight: you defend freedom of expression by conducting acts of censorship? In French we would say that's like fucking for virginity.

On a popular man-boy love blog, a user named Kristofor warns against a "Possible retrogressive Anonymous loris."

"They could be patching their servers," shrugged the Anonymous source when I mentioned it. 

Whatever these sites do in defense, they won't stand a chance.

Anonymous released its full list of targets Wednesday evening. The hackers have a system, explained in a Pastebin doc: 

Each website got a Number. @ReportApedo will tweet when to go pew pew on a certain website using its number to identify it. Feel free to deface, dos/DDos, hack these websites whenever you want to. But when firing we need everyone to fire at the same target at the same time. Additional targets might be added and everybody will be notified. We will start attack right at 01:00:00 p.m. Thursday April 25, 2013 in GMT. … The Op will continue all day and we will be posting our old d0xes on pedos in addition to TangoDowns and Defaces. Our primary goal is to take target #1 down and we won't stop firing until it is down.  

Target No. 1 is a Russian-hosted imageboard filled with password-protected albums such as "boy Self pics" and "girls in the bathroom." Target No. 2 is a "free bookmarking & blogging platform" with "sex" in the URL. Target No. 3 is a popular porn-streaming site with the tagline "where anything legal stays" and the unfortunate reputation for lax security measures against user-submitted underage content. (In talking to the Anonymous source, this is the one he seemed most excited about taking down.) Another is a North American Man-Boy Love Association page. Other sites on the list include nauseating URLs with variations of "teen," "junior," "models," "9 to 12," and "jailbait." 

We'll update you as the online carnage unfurls. But Anonymous is quick to remind witnesses that behind the fun, though, the exposure is meant to deliver a message to anyone in the position to protect a child on Alice Day. Anonymous's recruitment video for #OpAliceDay closes with this line of warning: "Watch your children and be extra vigilant. … April 25 is like Christmas to them."

Update: The Op seems to be going well so far. Several sites, including NAMBLA.org, are down. They've had less luck with the legitimate porn sites. "They have protection against DDoS," the #OpAliceDay leader told me via Twitter DM. "Needs more people to take 'em down. Perhaps might need botnets."

Other supporters are lending a hand on Twitter by releasing information on as many sex offenders as possible.

So now we have a group of Perverted-Justice copycats in bloody ol' England, botching investigations just like they did here in America. The Facebook group for these trolls have already been removed. Now if only it was that easy to remove the same websites in the USA!

A band of parents have formed a vigilante group to snare suspected paedophiles. 
Their tactics have led to six arrests – but police forces have reacted with anger, warning that they could be compromising existing investigations. 
The parents have set up dozens of profiles on dating and social networking websites, pretending to be girls aged 12 to 15.

Using these, the group, who call themselves Letzgo Hunting, exchange messages with suspected paedophiles, sometimes for weeks, before luring them into meetings in parks or other public areas. 
The parents, some of whom are trained in the martial arts of jujitsu and karate, film the resulting confrontations, in which they demand an explanation from the men and warn them to expect to be arrested.

They then upload the footage on to their website and Facebook page. Their most recent video, created on Sunday, shows a suspect flee as a vigilante gives chase in a park on the outskirts of Leicester.

The clip was viewed 4,000 times within two hours yesterday. The group’s Twitter account was also inundated with messages of support from members of the public as word of their activities spread.
The group – three men and a woman assisted by 13 ‘helpers’ – admit to being vigilantes but say they are not a lynch mob and never threaten violence.
But Leicestershire Police warned that such ‘naming and shaming’ tactics threatened ‘chances of success in court’, potentially blocking justice.
Child welfare charity the NSPCC also urged the group to step back and said tracking down paedophiles must be done ‘by proper authorities’.
And Warwickshire Police and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre added to warnings that vigilantes could harm investigations.
Letzgo Hunting’s leader, who calls himself Scumm Buster, told the Daily Mail he works in the security industry, but declined to reveal the backgrounds of the others. He said the group had 84 online profiles, using images of young-looking adult female friends with their consent. Sometimes these were airbrushed to remove signs of ageing such as wrinkles and ‘make the girls look obviously young’.

He added: ‘Usually the men meet us under their real names but we will also try to find out what car they will be arriving in, so we can make a note of the registration plate to pass on to the police.’
He said the explicit nature of some of the men’s online messages was ‘shocking’, but explained it was crucial to actually meet each suspect because that is what proves their ‘intent’ to break the law under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by inciting a child to participate in a sexual act.
The men are asked to bring condoms and alcohol to the meetings and sometimes the female member of the vigilante group is used as ‘bait’ to ensure the men step out of their cars.
So far, they have carried out nine ‘stings’, resulting in seven confrontations. The other two men drove away after becoming suspicious.
As a result, Leicestershire Police have arrested three men. One further arrest has been made by West Midlands Police, one by Warwickshire Police and another yesterday by Nottinghamshire Police.
Scumm Buster said the group, aged 20 to 50 and from the Hinckley area of Leicestershire, are ‘close friends’ and openly film their suspects.
The footage is immediately passed to the police and is removed from the group’s website when an arrest is made. They are currently monitoring up to 50 men online, he added.
